Discussion of Reports

No-one was ready to present their reports for discussion.  Mr. Alexander said his sub-committee is still working on the language and could be ready to distribute their final draft in about a week.  Mr. Alexander and Ms. Harrison should have their final revisions in two weeks.  Their sub-committee might submit two reports with different approaches to be discussed and decided  on piecemeal.  Ms. Wilson said her sub-committee should be ready to submit next week.  She asked if farmlands and agricultural areas should be part of the report that comes under the heading “Forest”.  Also other animals such as the white-footed mouse also affect the tick population. Ms. Shaw and Dr. Grossman will be meeting this week to discuss their report.  They noted that there is a need to educate parents, children and educators on the subject of tick-borne disease.  Also how to treat parks and school grounds.  Dr. McLeod and Dr. Licht are close completing their introduction and should be ready by next week.

Dr. Grossman said that everyone has been working hard and are close to completion.  It is important to debate as a group.  Dr. McLeod said it will take more than one session to complete.
